This is an introductory level course

Most organisations understand why managing risk is important, but have less expertise on how to do it. Many Trustees don’t realise that it is an essential part of their role. This short taster session will break down the stages of doing a risk assessment through a worked example. It will cover: 

  • Identifying high risk problems 
  • Understanding the consequences of not dealing with the issue 
  • Working out what to do about it 
  • Making a risk mitigation plan – a template 
  • Next steps 


This course will be useful for Trustees and anyone else who is just starting to think about managing risk at their organisation.
