Course Content

This is an intermediate level course.

Effective analysis and management of risk underlies much of what your organisation does. From your basic policies to strategic disaster recovery planning, Trustees need to be aware of what the risks are and understand how to manage them.

This session, which was recorded in January 2022, will look at all aspects of managing organisational risk and offer suggestions on methods and tools. There will be time at the end for discussion on your own risk-management challenges. It will cover;

  • Why should organisations analyse and manage risks?
  • Types of organisational risk and how to assess them
  • Common risk-management methods
  • Monitoring risk
  • Workshop; your risk-management challenges

By the end of the session you will understand techniques for quantifying risk, how to create a “risk register” and ways of mitigating the risks faced by your organisation.

Feedback survey Please note that there is a short feedback survey included with this course and we would appreciate your thoughts.
