Course Content
This is a longer session which covers the issues around safeguarding in more detail than our shorter courses, although it overlaps with these.
This session covered what policies and procedures are needed to ensure that service-users, volunteers and staff are kept safe. Specifically:
- What abuse is and who may be vulnerable to abuse.
- Reducing the risk of harm
- Spotting and reporting safeguarding concerns
- Having a system of taking further action
- Keeping safeguarding procedures effective and up-to-date.
