The next training in the series is a longer session which will go into one of the issues in more detail.

This session will look at what policies and procedures are needed to ensure that service-users, volunteers and staff are kept safe. We will cover:

- What abuse is and who may be vulnerable to abuse.
- Reducing the risk of harm
- Spotting and reporting safeguarding concerns
- Having a system of taking further action
- Keeping safeguarding procedures effective and up-to-date.
