Policies and procedures for organisations with staff
In this short video Noella Gooden, and employment solicitor for Grant Saw solicitors LLP talks about the polices and procedures needed by organisations with employees.
This is an introductory level course
Noella looks at the range of policies that are necessary when an organisation has staff.
Starting with what the risks are, the guidance of the Charity Commission and the Employment Rights Act, Noella looks at how an organisation can decide what policies it needs.
She argues that the policies you have should be proportionate; a larger charity will need more policies than a smaller one - but there are still some essentials.
Noella has donated her time for free to make this video and we are very grateful.
