This is an introductory level course

The starting point for “marketing” your organisation to funders, prospective volunteers and the community is the stories of the work you do. They capture and encapsulate the difference you make to the people you help. They show better than a long report your triumphs and challenges. This session will go through the basics of using your stories. It will cover: 

  • Why telling stories is important for your organisation  
  • How you can understand, measure & evaluate the impacts of your work  
  • The types of impact measurement  
  • To look at the range of evidence you can use to tell your story  
  • How to tailor it to your organisation  
  • What makes a story great  


It is suitable for anyone working at a not-for-profit organisation.

Subscription options
