Course content

This is an introductory level course

Many charities don’t think of what they do as “marketing” when they are trying to attract service users, but it can be useful to think of it this way because it gives you access to a new range of techniques. This course will go through the basics of marketing. It will cover:

  • What is marketing?
  • What are you marketing?
  • Who are you marketing to?
  • What advantages do you have to market your current services?
  • How do you sell the "sizzle"?

This course is suitable for anyone working in a not-for-profit organisation.

The next courses in this series are: How to develop your marketing – August 2022 and Making a Marketing & Communications Plan – November 2022. Watch this space for when these are open for booking.

Feedback survey Please note that there is a short feedback survey included with this course and we would appreciate your thoughts.
