This is an introductory level course

Community centres and Village Halls are under pressure. Many are looking to re-invent themselves. This course will look at the different sources of income that organisations can consider, how they can market their services and access grants and other funds.

Specifically:

  • Why make an income generation plan - and what other planning supports this
  • Diversifying income
  • Finding capital funding; researching funding sources
  • Community fundraising - engaging the community
  • Reserves policies; "saving up" for big developments
  • Managing it all

This course is suitable for Trustees, staff and volunteer involved with Village Halls or community-based venues.
