This is an introductory level course.

This session broke down the process of creating a budget and take it from first principles. It looks at how to account for income and how to ensure that all types of expenditure are included. It covers:

  • What a budget is for
  • Anticipating income
  • What are "core" costs
  • How to identify project income
  • How to use a budget to compare to actual figures


This course is suitable for anyone who is just starting to work with budgets, you do not need any prior knowledge.
