The recruitment, management and care of volunteers is a fundamental part of ensuring that the front line services are delivered effectively. Volunteers add a richness and diversity at all levels of the organisation and so taking care of them well is an obvious choice. Using a well-used model; The Volunteer Management Cycle, this course will break down the stages, specifically it will cover:

- Being a volunteer-friendly organisation

- The volunteer management cycle:

  • Recruitment & selection
  • Induction
  • Training and development
  • Management & supervision
  • Reward and Recognition
  • Exit or redeployment


This course  is suitable for anyone and does not require prior knowledge.
