Course Content
This short video considers the questions around Trustees representing the organisation externally. Whether it's formally at meetings and networking, or informally amongst friends, Trustees love to talk about the organisation and the cause they are passionate aboute. However, they must be sure that what they are saying is accurate, based firmly in their role as Trustees, and well-informed.
Simon, an experienced Chair and Trustee, specifically looks at the following questions:
- Part of a Trustees role is to represent the organisation externally. How do you think a Trustee should go about this?
- What information can the organisation provide their Trustees to help them to champion the cause effectively?
- What training do you think would be useful for Trustees who regularly liaise with external partners?
