Starts at 10:00. From dissension within the team to problems keeping volunteers, this 90-minute session will cover common problems and what to do about them.
People are the greatest resource your organisation has. They are passionate, knowledgeable and enthusiastic - they can also be difficult to manage!
This 90-minute interactive session will cover common problems and their solutions. At the end of it you will:
- Have a good basic grasp of staff management and how to head off problems
- Understand the volunteer management cycle and where difficulties can arise - you will have a plan for dealing with these
- Know how to use disciplinary measures for staff and volunteers
- Understand how person development and performance appraisal can benefit everyone
- Feel that you know what policies and procedures need to be in place for everyone's' protection.
This course is suitable for managers and, trustees of a an organisation that has people.
