This is an Intermediate level course.

This conversation is with Linda Riggs, DCA's former Office and Finance Manager. Linda prepares and submits reports to DCA's Board for meetings and annually when they are considering budgets and accounts. As organisations grow and the finance function may devolve to a finance professional, receiving the right reports in a timely fashion,  is a vital part of the managing the financial health of the organisation.

In this video Linda discusses key questions, based on her expertise and knowledge of this important process. 

These are:

  • What financial information do you think a Trustee Board needs to see?
  • How often do you update them?
  • What do you do if someone on the Trustee Board doesn't have much experience with financial information?
